We’re Relaunching the Storied Mind Newsletter with New Email Service

by John Folk-Williams

Please read this post if you subscribe to email delivery or are interested in signing up for the Storied Mind Newsletter.

Newsletter:

Starting with this week’s issue, the newsletter will come out every Wednesday. It will continue to feature original content available only in this email publication.

The New Email Format

Each week I’ll respond to a reader question that touches on concerns many others have also mentioned. I’ll be adding links to related Storied Mind posts as well as information in different media from other websites.

If you’re interested, please have a look at the newsletter page for more information.

If you now receive only the Storied Mind posts by email and want to add the newsletter, you will need to sign up for it. When you fill out the form, just check the “newsletter only” option.

(A new sign-up is necessary since anti-spamming practices forbid us from emailing you anything you have not specifically asked us to send.)

Email Delivery:

Right now, email subscribers receive Storied Mind posts from one of two different services. The format is quite different in each, and using two services means I have to maintain a subscriber list for each one.

I’ve decided to shift to a single email service (Mailchimp), and you’ll see the change soon with the next blog post and newsletter. This move simplifies administration, but more importantly provides a single, flexible template that more closely resembles the design of the website.

If all goes as expected with the switch-over, you won’t have to do anything. Both of the existing subscriber lists have been imported to the new service, and you should receive the emails as usual.

Let me know at once if there are any problems. You can reach me either by email at john@storiedmind.com or by using the contact form.
